First candle is lit
Oooh I do love my candles and take any opportunity to light them. This is the first one of the autumn season in my little fench bowl resting on a crochet coaster from the car boot, on the new fabric square tablecloth which looks like CK but of course isn't, it's from the Range and is only £7.30m but is incredibly wide. The tablecloth in the background is from IKEA fabric, I don't know why but I've gone right off IKEA I think I prefer to paint up old bits of furniture. Shabby Sue at our Whitby shop is the queen of auctions and regularly tops up the shops with unique 'one of a kind' bits that she paints up and distresses, she keeps all her contacts very close to her chest I tell you MI5 could learn a lot from the Egton Bridge auction circuit! Have you seen Kirsty Allsopp has a new book out? I haven't seen it yet and did you know that she is the cousin of the mighty CK? what a village community we are, crafters, bloggers, designers which reminds me,,, Craft Academy on tuesday, hope someone turns up!
