I have made an important decision, fortunately early enough for it to actually happen, but I am going to handmake all my Christmas presents this year! phew! I've gone and done it now, there's no going back, eek! I think it was the delivery of lucious Tilda and Mabel Lucy Atwell fabrics that has made me go all 'must make, must make!' oh for a sweet day at the sewing machine flitting from project to project just amusing myself! Any of you up for the handmade Christmas challenge?

I'm doing that this year too! I did it last year aswell. Made jams and chutneys and sauces in a gift hamper for certain ppl. I made my mum a pillow etc and did lots of little things for family. It wasn't all easy.. I fell out with nigella lawson over chilli jam. Kirsties homemade home and novellas Christmas shows were my favourite!! I can't wait for this year!

I had people rushing into the Studio on the 4th January re-opening after my Christmas break last year all inspired to make their gifts this year! I think it's a wonderful thing to put love into something and give it to show that special person how much you care - you do have to start early though! Nic x
Yes I'm going o try and do the same, well at least one thing handmade. It was my brothers idea last year because him and his partner make things for each other. I've always loved handmade crafts but this will be the first year I'm determined to join in too.
