The wonderful world of buttons

Many of you will know that buttons are one of the reasons for getting up in the morning! I don't know, how can such little bits of plastic give such pleasure? At christmas one of my major discoveries were the chocolate vintage buttons in Hotel Chocolat, they were the most fabulous presents  I have ever found and I was beside myself until christmas day knowing that my friends would love them to bits. So to come into work and find this button lamp really set my heart racing! what a beautiful simple idea from Andrea which has set me off on a button bonanza, if only you could still buy great big tins of old buttons at charity shops  but those days have long gone, sadly for button people like me!
