Well, finally managed a trip to blogland! It's been all go at Red House since last wednesday and for a very special reason... we have been photographed for a house magazine, Country Homes and Interiors I think! so with any luck this time next year we will be able to look at our house in their mag and probably say 'look how tidy it is!' It took quite a few early mornings of sorting out to get the uncluttered look they were wanting in fact I was almost getting to the point where having styled the bathroom I was hovering outside shouting 'don't touch anything' through the door to unsuspecting teenagers! Brent Darby was the photographer and he was great and even gave me some photography tips for the blog (side- lit is always best apparantly!) I'm sure that will make all the difference! I was absolutely exhausted afterwards and even resorted to a 4pm snooze which has not been heard of since baby producing days! It was a great day though and Victoria came to have her picture taken with me so that we can get a mention for Bespoke Country, she brought with her some more of her wonderful tea cosies which I managed to slip in as many shots as possible, in fact it will probably look as if we house the national collection of tea cosies, never mind it could be worse I have a friend who collects tractors!
