Great eggcitement here at Red House as we will be getting some more chickens this week from the Yorkshire Show to go in our new henhouse,see piccy. Seems like a funny anniversary present to me though, let's hope they lay symbolic eggs of silver!!! Of course, that's if the fox doesn't get them first as it has to be said we don't have much luck on the chicken- licken front, I think our local foxes had commando training at MI5! to be honest if these ones go in the usual way it'll be time to give up and think of something else to keep in there. However, when we were putting it together ( it arrived to us in flat pack form) to finish off and adhere to the strict regulations laid down by law ( I won't fall for that one again) I had to get inside and be locked in to move it into the correct position, well you can guess can't you, it started off being a sweet 'you can let me out now it's not funny anymore' as Steve just grinned and grinned enjoying every minute! Never mind revenge will be so sweet!
