A Late Coffee

'Thankyou' I murmered appreciatively as Steve handed me a lovely coffee as we sat down to watch Medium at 10pm (normally bedtime I have to say) and here I am at 3.02 still wide awake and not quite so appreciative now! so while the rest of Red House snores on I have put my productive head on and made lots of lists e.g. product lists for two new categories on the website; weddings and christmas crafting. Strange choice you might say, however nothing is surprising in the world of retail! Last month we ordered in samples of christmas buttons to choose which ones to go in the big brochure and I thought well, we may as well put them out to sell and wow they just flew out! of course I'd forgotten crafters just love to be organised and start all their card making around now. Maybe that's something else I could do in the middle of the night! It is peculiar though always feeling sleepy at the wrong time of the day last sunday being a very good example, I had to sit through a very lengthy service in the morning  and had to resort to doing my pelvic floor excercises during the sermon to stay awake! I only hope the preacher didn't notice that my eyes kept widening at regular intervals! Secondly, in the bath getting ready to go to Louise's 40th 'surprise' party I fell asleep of course and was woken up by the air sea rescue helicopter which always flies directly over us, but this time it almost felt like they were going to land on the roof , I don't know what was the first thought that went through my mind  as I splashed and spluttered but I think I've been watching far too much of 'The Bill' on telly!!!!
