Nana's Crochet
I was brought up in London but remember staying at my Nana's for every school holiday in York. I seemed to spend weeks on end swinging on her garden gate which being a child was as far as I was allowed to stray! Nana was the one who first taught me how to crochet except my only memory of her creations are shapeless, wonky and what can only be described as 'totally random'; which probably explains quite a lot!- however my favourite place all through my childhood was her pink synthetic fluffy hearthrug where I used to lie for hours reading her Mills & Boon books (surprisingly informative for a young girl!) that were always stacked by her armchair (no decluttering for Nana!) but horrors, one holiday the rug had been replaced and the new one was just not the same, my childhood seemed over. Looking back I realise that it was long overdue for replacement with the scorch marks and burn holes from spitting coals-it's a wonder we weren't burnt alive! Anyway, maybe my sudden urge to crochet comes from those faraway days and my own impending grannydom, and when I look at this sign we sell in the shop (online in vintage) it does make me think fondly of my own Nana and her babysitting services for me! I notice romantic novels aren't on the list though!!

With havin so much written content do you ever run into any problems of
plagorism or copyright violation? My website has a lot of completely unique
content I've either written myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my agreement. Do you know any techniques to help prevent content from being stolen? I'd genuinely
appreciate it.
Here is my website; ford ranger
