Fran's Big Adventure

What a busy day it was yesterday. Not only was it our nephew Alastair's 18th birthday party which was at a pizza happy hour ( which made me very happy! ) but we were waiting all evening from a text from Fran and Jonno who was stopping over at Red House on their trip round Britain sailing in what looked to me like a very small boat! What an amazing thing to do, both seemed to have high powered jobs with a bit of burnout, so what a drastic thing to buy a boat and set off around Britain ten days later, it takes me longer than that to choose wallpaper! I think the prospect of sleeping in actual beds was very appealing as Fran had spent two nights on the journey sleeping in a shipping container! (seems she slept really well in it because it was so dark! I'd have been worried about waking up in Russia or somewhere! ) They've set off again this morning to Bridlington, hope you enjoy following her on this link Frans Big Adventure
