Have you seen the magazine 'The English Autumn'? I couldn't believe my eyes it was packed full of all things i love to read about. It was as if they had made the magazine just for me! There are articles on Agatha Christie, the Brontes and as I turned each page I thought ooh this is one to keep! There is even, get this, a Jane Austen festival in Bath where you can dress up apparently and dance! Ooh Mr Darcy, I don't honestly think I will get Steve to this as much as I would like to! I'll never get him in breeches!
What a strange eccentric country we are!

Forgot to lock up the chickens last night and my heart stopped a beat when i saw the open door to the pen! What would Steve say if he came home from Sweden and the chickens had been eaten. He does fuss over his girls, Ethel and Edna, a little too much (which probably makes up for me!). They've started having their own little chicken races in the garden, boy can they run fast!

We are going to see Hannah's little house this morning to work out what she needs to round up in the way of plates etc. All her possessions are in about three boxes at the moment, so should be an easy move! In fact Phoebe at five days old has more possessions than Hannah after 21 years!
